The fragrance of inner-self
The phrase Inquest Insight depicts the fragrance of inner-self. It's the signature event of Shahjalal University Photographers' Association (SUPA). For the first season of Inquest Insight, our goal was to expose the hidden talents of the country and inspire them by giving them a national platform. The venue was in our own SUST campus premises. In its second chapter, Inquest Insight's objective was to broaden the previous platform and thus an additional venue — Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, situated at the capital city, Dhaka — was introduced. At its 3rd installment, Inquest Insight's true potential was realized as it went international. It was easy to see from the immediate response from all over the world that this needed to happen again in a much grander fashion.
HIRAETH: An Intra-SUST Photography Exhibition
A longing of the soul to come home
‘Hiraeth’ is a deep, inborn sense of desire of human being for a feeling that is beyond the existence. A longing of the soul to come home. A home that we never had. The memories play over and over in our head. It makes everything so difficult. The moment gone, is gone forever. We can't revisit it. It vanishes. To feel Hiraeth is to feel deep incompleteness and perceive it as familiar. An intra-SUST photography exhibition is a chance for all the SUSTian to show their talent in photography.

On the occasion of SUST Day, InRetrospect: SUST Unveiled celebrates the memories, people, places, and moments that define the spirit of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. Through the lenses of students, alumni, faculty members, and staff, the exhibition presents a collective reflection on the campus life, traditions, achievements, and stories that have shaped generations of SUSTians.
